2016 Best Family Run Business Award
The Systemcenter receives the award for Best Family Run Business at the 2016 Business Achievement Awards Gala put on by Pacific Edge Magazine. Stephan Edwards (President, RME) was presented with the award on Friday July 22, 2016.
2015 SBA / Hawaii Business Editors Choice Award
The Systemcenter’s President Stephan Edwards receives the 2015 SBA / Hawaii Business Editor’s Choice Award for Long Term Success. Stephan was presented with the award at the prestigious awards ceremony hosted by the Small Business Association (SBA) and Hawaii Business on Friday May 8, 2015.
2010 SBH Entrepreneur of the Year
The Systemcenter’s President Stephan Edwards receives the 2010 SBH Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The 2010 Hawai’i All Star Small Business Awards were held on May 21, 2010 at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.

Our commitment to the Environment
The Systemcenter not only represents some of the most environmentally friendly manufacturers in the world, we also try to do our part locally by utilizing sky lights and solar panels to power our offices.
The Systemcenter, Inc.’s showroom, office and warehouse facility in Kalihi is now a net zero energy facility thanks to the 16.5-kilowatt (kW) photo voltaic system (PV) which went live on December 31, 2009.

On behalf of ‘Ulu’ulu: The Henry Ku’ualoha Giugni Moving Image Archive of Hawai’i at the University of Hawai’i – West O’ahu, I would like to extend my enthusiastic thanks and gratitude to you and your team for all your hard work and assistance in completing the Spacesaver High Density Eclipse Powered Mobile System in our archive’s vault.
‘Ulu’ulu is Hawai’i’s official state archive for moving images, and our mission is to preserve, protect, and make accessible our state’s moving image heritage that is recorded on the tens of thousands of videotapes and motion picture film reels in our care. Our Spacesaver System, currently the largest powered mobile system in the state of Hawai’i with nearly a mile of linear filing storage, ensures that we can fulfill our mission and provide secure, safe and efficient long-term storage of our archival collections.
This was a major effort and five-year project that began in 2010 with initial consultation and design to technical specifications and procurement and finally to delivery, installation and training in May 0f 2015.
My special thanks go to Sandra Edwards, Education, Library and Museum Market Manager, for her dedication and patience and willingness to work with our budgetary and fiscal needs; Clint Nazareno, Project Manager, for his coordination with UHWO Facilities; and to Bryan Edwards, Operations Manager, whose oversight and supervision of the installation made sure that not only was it completed on time but also two weeks ahead of schedule!
Here is a list of the amazing members of the on-site installation crew that worked diligently, professionally, and cleanly each day: Vance Watabu, Daigo Yamasaki, Welsin Manuel, Robbie Yoshimura, Josh Arbues and Lance Brug.

This was a U. S. government purchase through The Systemcenter, Inc.
Honolulu, Hawaii. It has been my experience that government purchases are typically a long drawn out process however, Systemcenter Inc. performed admirably though out the entire nine month process.
Nathan Wittig, the Market Manager, provided me with exceptional service when I made my initial contact with Systemcenter Inc. to replace our two aging Hanel Rotomats. Mr. Wittig promptly returned my call and then in a very short time, provided me with the quote I needed to initiate the process to purchase two new units.
Once the purchase was made, Bryan Edwards, the Operations Manager, kept me informed of the estimated delivery date and then followed up with further details to schedule the disassembly of the old units and installation of the new units.
Pardon me for I did not get their names, but the work crew that performed the disassembly and assembly or these units was outstanding. As you know, due to the size and weight of these units, this was no small task. This work crew stayed on task and completed the work as scheduled. If I had it to do over again, I would have requested the price quote to include work done after normal clinic hours but as it stands, this crew was top notch and only minimally impacted our normal work day. The crew was very conscientious about where they placed their tools and all Rotomat pieces throughout the disassembly and assembly process. They neatly collected the excess packaging material and even took care to make sure they cleaned their work area after each day. Not only did they protect the floor with cardboard pieces but they also swept and wiped up smudges from the tile flooring. Very impressive and exemplary work these men performed.
It is my pleasure to say that Systemcenter Inc. provided phenomenal service to deliver an excellent product.
