Papa Ola Lokahi, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Native Hawaiians, partnered with Systemcenter for the relocation of their new office space. Located in Honolulu, this project aimed to enhance functionality and create an inspiring work environment aligned with the organization’s mission.
The project began with a call to our showroom, with initial inquiries about Haworth’s office furniture for the following applications: cubicles, a conference table and chairs. Following discussions, a site visit was arranged to understand Papa Ola Lokahi’s specific needs and preferences.
The customer sought to optimize their workspace to support their daily operations and community initiatives. The renovation included updating office layouts to foster collaboration and integrating ergonomic furniture solutions. Special considerations were made for storage needs, incorporating solutions like lockers for personal items to maximize space efficiency.
Throughout the project, our team navigated various challenges typical of office renovations. Managing logistics such as working around power poles and navigating building constraints for delivery of the furniture with the building’s unique location of their freight elevators required meticulous planning. Despite these challenges, the installation was completed smoothly, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
