Low Pad reshapes the traditional lounge chair into a trim, modern form that doesn’t sacrifice comfort. The seat-to-back angle is open for a relaxing sitting position. Low Pad is at home in lounges, informal meeting spaces, and waiting areas. The chair’s body is bent birch plywood, and upholstery is Pelle Frau® Color System leather Ecopelle faux leather, or Kvadrat® fabric.
Designed by Jasper Morrison
Born in London, Jasper Morrison attended the Royal College of Art and established his first design office in 1986. Immediately afterward, he began his lasting and useful cooperation with Cappellini. In his collaborations with companies such as Alessi, Flos, Rowenta, Sony, and Samsung, he strives for minimal elegance in modern archetypes linked to past—favoring function on expression.
