With the prevalence of obesity increasing over the years, standard practice is now showing that 10-20 percent of a facility’s seating space should accommodate bariatric needs. Designed by Daniel Cramer and Paul James, KI’s Soltice® bariatric chair safely accommodates a person weighing up to 750 pounds. Additional features include an active suspension system for maximum strength and stability and complete replacement seats, backs and arms.

The Soltíce II Recliner accommodates the need for comfort and safety. With its 360-degree rotation and central-locking casters, it also allows caregivers to do their jobs more easily. For ease of maintenance, the seats and backs are field-replaceable.

Available as a lounge chair or loveseat, the Soltice sleeper allows you to sit comfortably, sleep soundly and convert between the two easily. Designed with patients, family and staff in mind, Soltice sleepers also offer convenient under-seat storage. Moving and repositioning the lounge chair for cleaning is easy to with standard 360 degree swivel casters.
