Systemcenter Project 36970
Delivering a Seamless Workplace Through Local Project Execution
Every commercial interior project is built on hundreds of decisions that happen long before installation begins. Coordinating logistics, verifying field conditions, aligning with construction schedules, and planning for local execution all play a critical role in delivering a workplace that comes together seamlessly.
For Edward Jones’ new Anchorage office in the SIRI Building, Systemcenter partnered with Missouri-based Haworth dealership Professional Office Environments to deliver the project in Alaska. As the local project partner, our Alaska team coordinated receiving, warehousing, site verification, installation planning, and on-site execution while working closely with the dealership, general contractor, and project team throughout every phase of the installation.
Our team received and stored product until the construction schedule was ready for installation, adapting to shifting shipping timelines and late-day freight arrivals to keep the project moving. Before installation began, multiple site visits were conducted to verify field conditions, confirm dimensions, and coordinate with the general contractor, Bauer Construction, ensuring the modular glass storefront system would integrate precisely with the completed space.
Installation was strategically phased to maximize efficiency. Furniture for the reception area, conference rooms, private offices, workstations, and collaborative spaces was installed first, followed by eleven modular glass storefronts with sliding glass doors once surrounding construction was complete. Throughout the project, Systemcenter remained closely aligned with Professional Office Environments, coordinating labor planning, field verification, installation, and ongoing communication to help deliver a seamless experience for the client.
Projects like this demonstrate the value of experienced local partners who understand the realities of executing commercial interior projects in Alaska. By combining local expertise with proactive coordination and clear communication, Systemcenter helps national project teams navigate complex logistics, adapt to changing jobsite conditions, and deliver workplaces that meet the expectations of every stakeholder.
Whether supporting a multi-location office project or a single commercial office, Systemcenter Alaska provides the local project coordination, warehousing, logistics, and commercial furniture installation expertise needed to deliver successful projects across the state.
