University of Hawaii West Oahu

Systemcenter Project # 4349

As the University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu prepared to expand into its new campus in Kapolei, the vision was clear: create a forward-thinking learning environment to support a growing student body and a diverse academic mission. From classrooms and labs to lounges, offices, and dining areas, the goal was to furnish every space with purpose—to encourage collaboration, productivity, and comfort across campus.

Working closely with the design teams at Philpotts and John Hara Associates, we supported UH West Oʻahu in translating those goals into functional, flexible, and inspiring spaces. Our role included coordinating the full installation of furniture across a wide range of environments: administrative offices, classrooms, laboratories, student lounges, cafeteria areas, and more.

This project reflects the university’s commitment to thoughtful design—and showcases what’s possible when space planning and furnishing are approached holistically to serve an evolving campus community.
