JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Alaska Account Manager / Sales
Responsibilities:
- Maintain key company account relationships and develop new business opportunities in Alaska.
- Focus primarily on the commercial market, including U.S. military bases.
- Work closely with customers, internal support staff, operations department, vendors, and contract partners to oversee all aspects of a project.
- Serve as a product and process expert, assisting customers in identifying solutions to their space planning needs.
- Educate customers on procurement processes, directly or with the help of contract partners.
- Conduct site surveys, measure spaces, and communicate space planning needs and logistics.
- Identify product solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Provide own transportation to cover U.S. military bases in Alaska.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-directed and motivated learner
- Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Capable of working under strict deadlines on multiple projects
- Skilled in prioritizing work assignments and multitasking
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Technologically proficient, particularly with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Clear driving abstract and ability to pass a background check for U.S. military base access
- Willingness to travel to U.S. military bases within market areas
- Familiarity with federal government procurement methods is a plus
- Experience in the contract furniture industry is highly desirable

Schedule:
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
