Founded in 1944 when the company was commissioned with creating a chair that was lightweight, fire proof, and non-corrosive for use on US Navy submarines, Emeco’s product line has evolved beyond function into hospitality and social spaces seeking its classic design.  Along with its famous 1006 Navy chair, Emeco brings a curated selection of iconic design to the Haworth Collection that is sustainable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
