Project # 19172 – Hawaii Pacific Health Pali Momi Vidir Bed Lift & Spacesaver Mobile Storage
Hawaii Pacific Health Pali Momi’s Project Manager, David Yamaguchi, and Architect Jeff Mori of Arthur Mori & Associates reached out to Systemcenter with a plan to install Vidir Automated Bed Lifts in the basement of the Pali Momi parking lot. Their objective was to create more storage space for hospital beds that were either not in use or needed repairs. The basement area was at capacity with beds and other items, limiting the space’s usability.
Having experienced the successful implementation of another Vidir Bed Lift system at the HPH Kapiolani Medical Center NICU Facility in 2016, David and Jeff recognized the potential of the bedlift system to optimize the basement space. The installation of the 18-bed lift not only organized the bed storage but also created additional room for ingress, egress, and further storage. This allowed for the installation of a Spacesaver Mechanical Assist high-density mobile storage system in the same area. Vidir’s mechanical lead collaborated with our in-house installation team to ensure the successful setup of the bed lift system, effectively transforming the basement into a more functional and spacious storage area.
