On June 1, the Systemcenter took over Harbor Restaurant at Pier 38 and hosted our 40th Anniversary Party. The event was a HUGE success and one heck of a good time! We would like to extend a great big mahalo to all who attended and helped us celebrate. The evening was filled with good times and merriment and we were so very appreciative that we got to celebrate with so many of the people that helped make the event possible.
Highlights of the night included an amazing selection of food from Harbor’s Executive Chef; Rob McDaniel. Rob knocked it out of the park with a wide variety of simply delicious offerings.
And to have multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award winner Kapena perform all night was indescribable. Kelly boy DeLima and family were incredibly gracious and friendly, and of course are among the finest musicians Hawaii has ever produced. We were all so very impressed with their humility and musical talent. We couldn’t have asked for more.
And of course, having a free flowing full open bar all night didn’t generate any complaints either. We would like to extend a special mahalo to all the team at Harbor Restaurant as well for helping make putting on such an amazing event so easy.
The only hiccup in the evening’s festivities was the traffic accident that actually shut down Nimitz Hwy right near the restaurant. So thank you VERY much to all who braved the traffic and struggled to make it through (we still had a full house), and we apologize to all those who fought the good fight but weren’t able to make it through. That just means we’ll have to have another party for all those that couldn’t make it.
We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and getting to spend some quality fun time with all of you!
